  • Strain through a fine mesh sieve and cool to room temperature.

Final Touches

  • Refrigerate the eggnog for at least 2 hours.
  • Whisk the egg whites until soft peaks form, then fold them into the chilled eggnog.

Serving

  • Pour into glasses, garnish with whipped cream, cinnamon sticks, and grated nutmeg.
  • Add alcohol for an adult version, if desired.
