  • 500 ml beef broth
  • 250 ml red wine
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste

  • 1 tsp smoked paprika

Instructions
 

Browning the Beef

  • Pat the beef cubes dry and season with salt and pepper. Dredge in flour.
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet. Sear the beef until browned on all sides. Transfer to the slow cooker.

Sautéing Vegetables

  • In the same skillet, sauté onions, celery, and garlic for 3–4 minutes until fragrant.
  • Stir in tomato paste and cook for 1–2 minutes. Deglaze the skillet with red wine.
  • Pour the mixture over the beef in the slow cooker.

Slow Cooking

  • Add carrots, potatoes, bay leaves, thyme, and smoked paprika to the slow cooker.
